Following certain rules for cleaning laminate floors is as important as buying the best laminate floors. Here are the most effective ways which you can use to clean your floors.
Contemporary cleaning methods
⇒Regularly sweep your floors. This prevents dirt from prolonging in the floor.
⇒Do not use a wet mop. Because it can absorb the material and seek through under the laminate which might cause your laminate floor to become dent and loose its shape.

Nail polish, shoe polish or tar stains:
Use a microfiber cloth and add drops of nail polish remover with it. Cleanse the stain with the microfiber cloth until and unless the stain disappears.
Over the grease, place an ice pack or package of frozen vegetable until the grease hardens. Then use a plastic spoon or a butter knife to scrape off the frozen and dried grease. Once you are done removing the grease, spray small amount of window cleaner on the spot and wipe it with damp cloth to remove the rest of the marks.
Use an eraser to rub the marks of the heels on your laminate floor. Whatsoever, you should avoid walking on the laminate floors wearing heels or stilettos. Just put your shoes aside while you have to walk across it.
Cleaning Laminate Floors with Vinegar
There are much debate regarding the use of vinegar to clean laminate floors. Sadly, few of us are aware of the fact that vinegars with the combination of water makes a really good reagent for cleaning.
⇒First make a solution of vinegar and water. Pour 1/4 cup (60 ml) white vinegar into a 30 to 32 oz. (940 to 1000 ml) spray bottle.
⇒Fill the rest of the both with water and shake it well to mix both the reagents.
⇒Then spray the solution in the bottle in your laminate floor. Remember not to spray the entire floor at once. You can spray till 1-foot or 30.5 com squares. This is because you need to wipe it with a mop immediately. It will start to wear away in the protective layer of your laminate floors. So, if you spray covering a larger area you will waste a great deal of your solution.
⇒Use a soft microfiber cloth to wipe away the vinegar and water solution. Try to avoid any mop or cloths those are abrasive. Otherwise your laminate floors might lose its functionality.
⇒Do not use wet mops. And even if you use it, ensure that you have extracted the liquid from the cloth. If the floors is soaked with water, the floor might dent due to moisture.
